Lance Armstrong, Porsche MTB, and Campagnolo Clothes

Armstrong will not race in France until Tour

Lance Armstrong has decided not to compete in France until Tour. The last years he raced in some French competitions, such as Dauphiné Liberé and Midi Libre, but this one he will prepare Tour de France in some Spanish races.

This origin of this decision has been the request of the urine samples from U.S. Postal members by the French autorities.

In spite of this, Armstrong has won by second year running the Vélo de Oro award, while Erik Zabel has been second and Jan Ullrich, third.

Alex Corretja wins a Porsche Bike FS Evolution

The famous car constructor Porsche has also developed a high tech bicycle range. To promote this new business, they decided to give their state-of-the-art two wheels machine to the Davis Cup winner.

On Saturday, February 3th, Alex Corretja received that wonderful gift. Now he is the owner of a Porsche Bike FS Evolution. This extraordinary bicycle is just as desirable as any Porsche car can be.

Take a look at some of its features:
Carbon fiber rear suspended frame
Monocoque construction
Cane Creek AD-10 shock absorber
Votec FS4 Air2 fork 140 mm maximum travel
Dual crown, carbon legs and air damping system with compression and rebound regulations
Carbon stem, with adjustable length and angle and dual bar clamp
Spengle Evolution carbon three spoke wheel set
Shimano XTR componentry for front and rear shifters and derailleurs
Carbon fiber crankset
Magura Louise HS 55 hydraulic disc brakes.
Time ATAC pedals

This wonder weights just 12.4 kg. If you would like to have a bike like this you will just need about $4,500 or you will have to win the next Davis Cup. We are  searching for some partners to begin trainings. We wish Alex to enjoy this bicycle and we hope we can see him on a trail soon.
