Razor's Scream Machine
06/18/2002
Razor USA today unveiled the Scream Machine, the re-engineered successor to the classic Big Wheel(R) three-wheeler of the 1970s. Unlike its all-plastic predecessor, Scream Machine is a fully-chromed missile; souped-up, low-down and high speed, with a wide, aggressive stance and flared wheels just waiting to tear up the pavement. Tough, fast, safe and enabling the best skid-outs known to asphalt, Scream Machine(TM) thrills today's kids to extremes never before thought
possible.

With BMX-quality steel construction and safety features that include a hubcap and pinch guard to protect shoelaces and fingers, Scream Machine's unique features include:
-- Freewheel coasting system, super-grip rubber front tire and heavy construction for reaching awesome speeds
-- Super-slick, blow molded plastic rear wheels for high-performance skid-outs
-- Extended airfoil axle doubles as a standing bar for kickstarting a fast ride
-- Seat and hand-brake adjust to fit kids four to twelve years
-- Rugged all-steel frame and fork with "hand-me-down" durability

"Kids' eyes grow wide at the sight of the Scream Machine(TM). After experiencing its super speed and skid-outs, they're bulging," says Razor USA
President Carlton Calvin. "This is one of the coolest products Razor has ever introduced. I can't wait to hear that familiar sound of kids having the ride of their lives on Scream Machine(TM)."

Calvin knows a thing or two about reinventing old favorites for a new generation. He is responsible for the Razor(TM) scooter craze, after spotting the potential trend on the streets of Japan and bringing it to the U.S. Recently, the pogo stick hopped back onto the American scene after Razor unveiled the Airgo(TM), an air-powered, aircraft-grade aluminum version of the timeless classic. Calvin looks to the Scream Machine(TM) as the toy to watch for 2002.

"The thrill of going fast and having fun never goes out of style," says Calvin. "If my own kids are any indicator, children everywhere aren't going
to be able to get enough of the Scream Machine(TM)."

Razor USA recommends Scream Machine(TM) users wear the proper safety gear (helmet, knee pads and elbow pads). Scream Machine(TM) will be available at FAO Schwarz, Toys "R" Us, Sports Authority and other quality retailers across the United States in late June 2002. The suggested retail price for Scream Machine(TM) is $99.00.
