I really did receive a box of six bells. That sure was exciting. I paid $6 or $8 thinking Id get one bell but got so much more. My daughters trike came with a bell so I bought a bell for my sons trike to avoid any fights. so, the big, heavy bell on my daughters vintage-styled radio flyer trike came off since it was slipping all willy-nilly all over the place and we replaced it with one of our many extra bells. These kettler bells are not made to stay on the radio flyer trike handles. The solution for us? I pulled out some adhesive scrapbooking foam (the kind that makes things pop off the page) and lined the black ring that goes around the handle bar with it. And, voila, I have two very happy, satisfied customers. So satisfied, in fact, that they race over to their trikes to ring the bell every time we get in & out of our car. Its a cute, high ring that sure makes and impression with them.

Loud, reliable and sporty

Havent had it very long but so far it works like a charm and was easy to install. I worry about scaring people as I come up on them from behind on my bicycle on the trail I ride. Of course there are those who block the trail and need a reminder to move over. This thing gets their attention easily and snazzes up my bike too.

Classic, simple, effective bike bell

I bought this bell because of the fantastic reviews on Amazon. The bell is a classic, simple, and effective bell. It was easy to install and works great. I wish they had more colors, but bright fire truck red will do just fine.

This is an excellent bell. Its red, so you will find it quickly heat of an emergency. Its loud, so others are more likely to hear you ring it over other noise, like street noise. You can mount it on the right and flick it with your index finger or mount it on the left and flick it with your thumb. The branding sticker comes off easily, which I view as a nice plus. I dont know why its marketed for toddlers, this is all around better than any other bike bell Ive ever seen.

Purchased this for my sons air navigator. What can I say, its a bell, it rings and he likes it. For a few $$$ it is a fun addition to a Kettler trike.

I wish all bikes had bells, like europe, in portland Or, the big biking place, bikes sneak up on your left, whisper, "onyourleft" and scare you just for the fun of it. They pass as fast as they can, for fun, no bells.
I have biked for my entire life, and never meet such rude bikers.

I aam not such a rude person, being from the midwest first, then oregon.
With this bell I can ring a 1/2 tone a 1/2 block away which moves walkers to the side without causing heart attacks. I like this bell because of the ability to modulate the tone to 1/2 and 1/4 rings with finger pressure.
When the walkers are lost in a haze, I just ring 1/4 tone, then 1/2 tone then 1 tone as I move up on them , just like Europe. Someday americans will stop hogging the walking/bike paths. This bell, used right will help.

For the price paid, this bell is a bargin. Well constructed, sturdy, does its job. I only wished they had it available in other colors to match my bike.

Great bike bell for a great price

After searching many bike stores and not finding a decent bell (and buying one that just fell apart the day I bought it), I finally searched online for a bell and found this one. Although bike bells seem like theyre for kids, I find them really useful in riding around the busy roads of Los Angeles, especially when warning pedestrians in crowded areas.

This bell is very sturdy and rings loudly and is very easy to install. Ive been very satisfied with this purchase and if anyone is looking for a bell, recommend this one highly.

Great bell

I bought this bell along with a Kettler tandem insert. This bell is as well-constructed as other Kettler products. I thought my boys would fight over the front seat of the tandem, but because of this bell is on the second tandem they both want the back seat! I have a no-name bell in the front that looks like trash compared to the Kettler bell. I may have to replace the front bell because the Kettler bell is so much better. Its easy for little fingers to ring and is well constructed.

I bought this to replace the cheap bubble horn on my sons bike. The Kettler Red Bell has a plastic mounting clip but the bell and clapper are metal and the sound is sweet and pure. My son has strict instructions to ring and announce when passing pedestrians on his bike and this functions very well. Its audible and easy for him to thumb while biking (hes 8). The bonus for me is that I dont have to listen to "blaaat blaaat" over and over, and instead get that lovely nostalgic "brrringgg brrringgg".

I am a little surprised that it comes left-handed. Maybe there is a way to switch it to right-handedness, but I cannot find any instruction to do so.

I was glad to know this bell is a good quality for kids. Very good construction and easy to use and put on the bike. My kids all love this bell. the colors are bright and very easy for my little ones to use. The price was very very reasonable too. I recommend this bell over any plastic one. Brings back memories

This is a very reasonably priced bicycle bell, with an old fashioned ring. I am using it to replace the prettier, difficult-to-ring bell, that I thought was really cute. It may have been cuter, but my 3 year old grandson had trouble dealing with it, and the sound was too low. This is perfect-and the price is right!

My 21 month old LOVES this bell. I almost swiped it for my own bike, its got such a great, loud ring, but was talked out of it by hubbie. Bright red, installs in a couple of seconds, and made riding her trike fun even before she could push the pedals. Yay!

I easily installed this bell on our Kettler Happy Nav. Cant see much going wrong with it as it appears to be very well made with high quality metals & high quality flexible but strong plastic. Im pretty sure its not waterproof but I dont think I will be taking our little guy out with his trike if its really raining.

This bell was easy to install onto my sons tricycle. Its easy for my 17 month old to ring and has a classic bike bell sound. Id highly recommend this bell.

We purchased this bell for our two year olds Kettler Kettrike Air Happy Tricycle. It fits perfectly on the handle bars and was very simple to install with just one screw. Now everyone can hear him coming!
