![]() Knog Frog 1-LED Bicycle Light By: Knog Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 9 More Information Do not trust these lights to be seen at night I bought two of these years ago along with the bullfrog light to use on my 17 mile commute to and form work. My commute varied, some days Id leave my apartment at 5am and others Id be home at 11pm. So I had to rely on my lights to get me home safely. These lights appear to be bright up close, but they are easily lost at a distance. Theyre "cute" and thats about it. Arrived with dead batteries I ordered two of these lights. One arrived with dead batteries, and replacing the batteries will cost almost as much as buying a new light. Its such a cheap light that Im not going to the trouble of returning it, but I wont buy them again and cant recommend them. Disappointed I bought two of these lights. They are very cute. The LED is bright. I have two problems with them. 1) The clip doesnt work well. Ive tried to put it on various parts of my backpack and it fell off every time. I put it on the back of my helmet and it shifts to point downwards and it pulls my hair out. 2) Unless I take the batteries out, the light turns itself on runs the batteries dead. Great Little Around Town Light These are great little lights to add some visibility to your bike. Not going to light up a moonlit night or anything, so dont get it if thats what you want. little BRIGHT light I just bought a 2-pack of these at my local bike shop. One has a red light and the other has a white light. There was a perfect spot right under my seat for this to wrap around. Its so bright I think it might be annoyingly bright for anyone behind me, but I guess thats the point right. Not sure if Ill put the white one on the front of just put that on the back of my wifes bike. These were $25 for the pair. Not cheap for as little as they are but easy to mount and perform their duty flawlessly. Affordable and easy installation I love this light I just wish I had gotten the tail light with it. It will provide some illumination on dark roads. Really bright! This knog frog uses a really bright LED. I use the red LED for my rear and I can be seen even in day light! I have other lights with more LEDs and none are as bright as this one. Its easy to use and its small so its not bulky looking. Lasts a long time with 2 coin cell batteries. Great bike light. niiice i love my bike lamp! its small and cute and all my friends are jealous. and its got two settings- steady and blinking. its just great! small, cheap, easy, works Obviously this little guy isnt intended to illuminate the road. The point of this light is to be seen by cars when you are driving on city streets and other well-lit areas. Snaps on and off easy, works great, easily fits in your pocket. Looks cool too. |
