Unfortunately I recently discovered that this book was redone and the price raised to $14.95. I received my copies of the redone book today and was appalled. I am embarrassed to have my name on this book. Do not buy it!

The book has been cheaply redone, with lower quality photos, cheaper paper and a poor layout. The original was $9.95 and nicely done in 1999. This bootleg version is $14.95 and poorly remade. Another sad twist to this story is the fact that I own the rights to this book (as of April 2006), and it was redone without my knowledge, permission or consent. I give this book 1 star.

The original book was a great book for its time. I wrote it in two weeks, in time for Interbike. Now I have a new book out which will supersede this one.
