![]() Deluxe Wonder Wheeler Beach Cart 2008 Model By: Rio Brands Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 20 More Information Great product for snow While I know that this product is for the beach, I bought this because I needed something that would go in snow. I am disabled and I use this cart to haul my groceries from the car and into my apartment, I also use it to haul trash out to the dumpster. this is great anytime of the year but it is especially great in the winter, the wide tires which is for it going in the sand is perfect for the snow. I love this product. I found my first one by accident at a local Sams Club and used it till it fell apart. I would recommend this to anyone who lives where it snows and needs some help hauling stuff in. Good quality, superior function Have owned this utility cart for 3 seasons of two week beach vacations. The functionality is with out question. As far a quality, mine has held up with out fail under the strain of hauling everything on and off the beach daily. Most impressive, I have stacked the beach cart up to the top multiple times with quarter cut hardwood for bonfires. So far no noticeable weakening or failure of the pieces after 3 years of use. Also note: You can easily remove the large back wheels for a smaller folding and storage size. Works Good Was great to load everything into. Was a little tough to pull on the really fine deep sand, but still much easier then carring everything. Difficult to roll in the sand Its a beach cart, so it should roll better in the sand. I think the wheels are just too small. I have used this several times this summer, it does hold ALOT of stuff, but its a killer dragging it through the sand. Overall, Id take this over nothing, but I am in search of a real beach cart, with wheels made for the sand. Great cart...except for Front wheels! We love the Deluxe Wonder Wheeler Beach Cart. This is the 2nd summer we use it---and we use it often! Only problem---the front wheels. (Thats why I gave it 4 stars.) One came off the 3rd or 4th time we used it. We reattached the wheel but it came off again. This summer, the other 1 came off. You know what? We are using it without the front wheels. It is still a great cart. Like another reviewer said, when you get to the sand, you need to PULL it as it wont go forward as the wheels arent thick enough. It holds a large cooler, 3 chairs, 2 beach umbellas, sand stakes, my beach bag and the food bag. We only need to make 1 trip! Gotta love it! Won't change your world, but will change your beach visit Lets be honest here. You are still dragging this cart through soft sand and it is hard work. But, it is a lot easier than any other option. I am impressed by how helpful this little cart was (just used it at the beach today). We got all kinds of gear into and onto it and we were the best-equipped people on the beach. Going through the soft, dry sand was pretty hard, but not as hard as holding all the gear or trying to push/pull any other wheeled object through sand. Still, next time Ill take the most direct route to the wet sand, which is significantly easier to walk on, and then walk along the wet sand to find my perfect lounging beach spot. It was very easy to assemble and did not require any tools. Definitely Recommend This cart was the best addition to our beach gear. It held everything we needed - 4 chairs, two umbrellas, all the sand tys, 2 boogie boards, and towels. It rolled fine on the sand. For the dry sand, it helped to tilt the cart on the bigger back wheels. We had several people ask us on the beach where we got the cart. My only criticism is that the removable beach tote doesnt always stay in place when you close it up. Other than that, this is the perfect beach accessory! Warning , No brakes, cart rolls away. Beach only use. I bought the Wonder Wheeler to use at 6 flags/ Hurrican Harber my 4 kids and I have season passes to. The cart did hold every thing I had with me nicely however, it kept rolling away from were I put it because the wheels didnt have a lock. Thinking that some how the locks were a missing part to the cart, I called Cos. service to get the locks mailed to me. Come to find out it dosnt have locks. This cart would be great for the beach ONLY. Great Product! I am very impressed with the quality of this product. It is well built, performs as indicated, and yet collapses to a compact form for transporting. Came in chipped and covered in grease Ended up returning this item, because when I opened the box, the metal parts were chipped in some areas, and it was covered in grease. I bought the same item a week later at a local warehouse store for half the price. Not Your Granny's Wagon No grannys here. I call this the Young Hot Chick wagon. This Wonder Wheeler has definitely improved my life. It can easily handle 12 loads of laundry, plus detergent & bleach bottles. The large back wheels make traveling over an occasional step/bump much easier to handle. BUT I originally read it can handle up to 100lbs and I carried a couple (okay, maybe a few...) cases of water with my groceris. It definitely can handle the weight, once. After that the front wheels will come loose (Ive had the wheel bolt repaired and then replaced as one of front wheels came off) I now believe it can handle 75 pounds easily and consistently. The makers of the Wonder Wheeler would do well to design a stronger frame. Great cart but watch the weight limits I loved this cart. I use it mostly at child clothing/toy consignment sales. I need another because my first one wore out. The rear axle cut right through the frame and it collapsed on me. The frame is thin tube aluminum, which adds to it being lightweight, but subtracts from the overall use-ability and quality of the item. Unfortunately Wonder Wheeler has no competition. So I will buy another and treat it as disposable. I dont think I consistently over loaded it, but without a scale to roll it on to I cannot be sure. But pay attention that it should not carry over 75 pounds. They mean it. Wonderul and helpful! Love the Wonder Wheeler - though it was a little larger than expected. Might have bought the smaller version but am extremely happy with the one we ordered. Makes going to the beach a dream, folds up easily and doesnt take up much space. Highly recommend it! LOVE IT! So convenient and so sturdy! I can load two tall laundry baskets! I would 100% recommend this product if you have to haul a bunch of stuff around on a regular basis. Great for sporting events too! I have a stepson that plays football in a traveling youth league and a stepdaughter that is a cheerleader for another youth football league. We have alot of stuff to haul around for the games (5 camp chairs, umbrellas for the chairs, a cooler, toys for the other kids, pom poms to cheer the kids on, etc) and this cart is certainly a back saver! The wheels are great on grass! Its easy to fold up to put in the trunk (and the back wheels can easily be removed if necessary). I would highly recommend this cart to other football/soccer moms (Ive already had other parents approach me at the games to ask me where I got it)! Vacation Everything we needed for the beach was on this cart. It was so good to have everything all in one place. The beach bag that attaches to the cart was the best thing. An addition to the "Make Jill's Life Easier Collection." I recently purchased the Wonder Wheeler Deluxe Beach Utility Cart after carrying all of our stuff to the beach each day, for a week, on a trip to Hilton Head, SC. I saw someone on the beach with one, and checked Amazon when I got home. I wanted my rating to show 5 solid stars because for me its "a fun toy" and it may not be educational per say, but its showing my kids how to be organized. So I gave it 5 stars in every category. We live in a community with a pool and the kids are eager to carry everything to the pool - but mom always carries it home. So its perfect to haul pool toys, towels, suntan lotion, a cooler, first aid kit, magazines, etc. It also has a removable bag that you can take if you need to leave the cart behind to use a restroom or whatever. Then I took it to our local amusement park that has a water park in it, and I was able to store all of the kids towels, gear, shoes, etc. While I was there I had 3-4 people ask me where I got it. Its a must for a trip to the beach. Its lightweight, durable, and has many uses. It does fold up, but I have used it so much that I havent even stored it yet! Deluxe Wonder Wheeler Its great - all that I expected. I especially like the front wheels and the large back wheels. Quality problems... Let me start by saying the WW Deluxe definately made our week at the beach much easier. But I have a few complaints about the overall quality of it. The second day at the beach, I noticed rust already forming on the metal. The big wheels make it easier to pull in deep loose sand, but definately not easy. By our last day at the beach (7 days), one of the front wheels broke, and I noticed a hole in the netting. So maybe they could improve on the quality, but the idea is good, and it definately made our trip much easier. A must for the beach I just ordered the wonder wheeler Deluxe. I used it today at the beach. I loaded it with a cooler, 4 beach towels, a folding table, 2 chairs, 2 pillows, a beach tent, a beach umbrella, another bag of food and another bag of essentials. I really stacked it up. It was very easy to push, like a baby carriage. When you get to the sand, you need to pull it. The sand was deep, so pulling this load took some work, but the wheels did the job well. There is no way we would have wanted to carry all this stuff without the wonder wheeler. It would have been a real ordeal at the blazing hot beach. The wonder wheeler made it a breeze. My kid wants me to change the name of the wonder wheeler to "fatty". Thats the way it looks when you load it up! |
