This is a very useful gadget. I dont care for jumbo seatbags and the small ones I have are overstuffed. Since I rarely need more than one water bottle, this is the perfect answer to my needs. I store two tubes, a set of large (yellow) tire levers, a mini pump, and a 16oz CO2 cartridge with room to spare. Now my seatbag is available for smaller items like keys and minitools. Ive bought one for each of my bikes.
The only downside is that its flat back design restricts its use to standard alloy water bottle cages. They wont fit in carbon fiber cages which will only take cylindrical objects. On: 2008-04-04
This storage bottle is unique, robust and practical. Highly commend it to any bike rider with a storage problem. On: 2008-01-02
This is an excellent solution for those than carry cellphones in jersey pockets. I found that mine collects moisture. This cage is nice place to secure the phone. The plastic insert is worthless as it gets crumpled to the bottom of the cage in no time. I found that I can put a smartphone and a tube in the cage, no problem. Its easy to open as you ride, too.

The Cage Rocket has proven a perfect sized tool container. Despite the unusual placement on my recumbent, it has only been jarred loose once crossing a regular set of railroad tracks.
It is quiet and holds a park multi tool, a small crescent wrench, 2 tire levers, a set of park glueless patches, a co 2 inflator and two co2 bottles.
Oh, and a small leatherman. On: 2006-09-22
Overall, this seems like a fairly simple yet good design. It has a thin pad that covers the entire inside, minus the cover. Its big enough to easily hold my Razr and its holster and still have room. The shipping was fast BUT the ad was incorrect. They state its the silver and black rocket, but they sent me a silver and grey one ... not what I was expecting. 4 stars for the rocket and the shipping, 2 stars for shipping a different color item than I ordered.
