I like the look of this fender, the attachment is cleverly engineered and strong. Ive had it on my commuter/mountain bike for 3 months, it has taken crashes and kicks with no problems. It does not protect as fully as a road bike fender but it keeps 99% of the mud off your back. Overall it does excatly what I want for a good price.

No more wet streak!

Im not a big time biker but I ride a few miles a day to work and back. Its always a challenge when it rains or Im riding shortly after a rain. You get that streak of water up the back of your pants and shirt as the spray flies up off the back tire. Not the ideal way to show up for work...or anywhere! What to do?

I got this Zefal fender. Its 3" wide, which fully covers the fat tires on my mountain bike. Its worked like a charm during several light rains so far...blocking the tire spray and keeping my clothes totally dry. Other nice features of the fender include the easy way it attaches to the seat stem with no tools required. Its got a cool twist mechanism you just connect by hand - when its finger-tight and its good to go. It also has a hinge to adjust the fender up and down, which requires an allen wrench. I keep mine set at one height, so havent used this feature much, but its an option. Overall, the fender does everything I need, for a good price. Am totally satisfied with it.
