I bought this light because I needed a light that would allow me to see the road without street lights (I live in a rural neighborhood). I am very disappointed with this light. The light dissipates to fast. The only way I can see the road is if I point the light directly in front of my front tire. If I point the light in front of me a little ways so that I can ride instead of walk the light dissipates very fast and I can see very little. This light might be fine if you want to be seen but if you want to see get something els.
