Much, much better than the slime filled tubes

I ride for 1 1/2 hrs. a day in an urban environment using a mountain bike with thick knobby tires. I was getting at least one flat a week. The slime tubes and liquid sealant provided by my bike shop didnt seem to work. If I ran over a thorn, the green slime would sometimes spray all over the bike and myself and still wouldnt prevent a flat. It also made the tires harder to remove and patch effectively.

The use of these new thicker tubes and a kevlar tire liner in my tires has almost eliminated flat tires completely. In fact, I think I bought too many of these tubes in anticipation that I would still have some flat tires. After two months, I still have three of the four I purchased in their boxes sitting on a shelf.
