Good cage, note that it has a matte grey surface, not shiny     On: 2010-02-09

I have these on all my bikes now - they are light, tough, and dont mark up the bottles.

Note that they have a matte grey finish to the metal, not a silver polished finish. Im fussy about my Rivendell so I polished the two of these cages I have installed on the Riv and they are shiny silver now.. Most people would not be that insane though ;)
A-OK     On: 2009-11-21

This is a decent bottle holder that is decently made for the price; I had purchased it as a second bottle holder on my road bike. My main gripe about it is that it does not hold water bottles as firmly as my other aluminum bottle cage. I have yet to dislodge a bottle while going over a bump, but bottles have come loose before. Overall, I think there are bottle holders out there that are more fitted than this one that would be better suited for someone with a road bike.
Works like it should     On: 2009-10-14

Very lightweight and straightforward cage. However, this cage may be more suitable for road riding than mountain riding. Mountain cages tend to be stiffer to avoid dropped bottles.
Nice bottle cages     On: 2009-08-28

These Planet Bike stainless bottle cages are just as nice as the Blackburn stainless cages at half the price (I have both).
Simply good     On: 2008-06-11

The stainless steel makes it strong and light. It also makes it not put the rub marks on your water bottle.
