Good light, but there is a better option

The Vega is a very bright light. Its very well designed, and its affordable. The only downside is the proprietary battery. LEDs last practically forever, but all rechargable batteries can only be recharged a certain number of times. When that happens, you will have to return the Vega for service, so you will be without a light. For just a little more money you can buy the DiNotte Ultralight 5W, which is brighter but uses rechargable AAs. Think about it---when the AAs wont hold a charge, replacement batteries are available at WalMart. In a pinch, you can use Lithium AAs, too. Thats the way to go, IMHO.
