Great MTB shoes     On: 2008-09-17

These are my first MTB shoes, but I couldnt be happier (except maybe if I could get them for free, lol). Sidi makes quality stuff, so I expect these shoes to last me a long time considering I only ride casually and mostly weekend warrior type stuff. I also use these shoes on my road bike for now until I do some races next year. These shoes had the best fit of all the shoes I tried, favoring a more narrow foot for a great snug fit that is very comfortable, yet offers great performance.

I would recommend them all the way to people like myself that fit the shoe.

These are my first pair of cycling shoes and so far no complaints. They are easily adjustable for a great fit.
Sidi Dominator 5     On: 2007-08-15

I ordered the Dominator 5 thinking they would have the same fit as the Dominator 4 shoe (which Ive had for 6 years). The new shoes have a slightly different fit. The toe straps are shifted slightly towards the ankle when compared to the Dominator 4 shoe. This fit made me adjust my straps differently for the new shoes. I use the top most (ratchet) strap to tighten the fit. The other straps are just lightly tightend across my foot. The top strap also fits above the tongue, so its much easier to take the shoes off.

The padding in the Dominator 5 is much better than the 4s. There is more of a cushion for the insole on the 5s.

The reason for going with Sidi shoes is durability and comfort. The materials used on the Sidi shoes stand up to the abuse of hard mountain biking. Even wearing the shoes everyday for a week, my feet are happy without blisters or sore spots.

Im happy with the Sidi Dominator 5 shoes and hopefully theyll last as long as my Dominator 4s.
