Ingenuity, quality, and style!

I love this bag! Now, it doesnt fit on the handlebars of my Townie Sport 2200, which was the goal, but should fit well on another bike. It should work fine on a "normal" rear-mounted book rack, but heavy contents will make it want to lean into the spokes of your rear wheel if your book rack is mounted to your seat stem, as mine is. A book rack that has struts to your rear axle will prevent the problem. So I have an unusual bike. Most other bikes wont have these issues. The bag is solid, I like the style, and it has concealed hooks to suspend it from a horizontal bar. Its a nice, moderate size, easy to detach and reattach. It has reflector tape on the inside of the edge. Its just done so right. I particularly like black and white things: this is a very stark white and a very black black.

Cycle Chic Bag

Ive had this bag for a month now, and have used it daily with my Electra Townie bike. It attaches to the rear rack very easily, with large, secure hooks. Lifting it off is equally easy, and it has as much room inside as a paper grocery sack. While I wouldnt put a gallon of milk in it, Im quite comfortable putting the days grocery shopping in it, or a change of clothes for the commute to work. The handles are easy on the hands, and it looks stylish enough, that it has drawn compliments from strangers in upscale malls.

Great Bike Accessory

I just purchased the Basil Mirte, Design Shopper, and took it with me to the neighborhood grocery store. What a great bike accessory. The shopper easily holds a basket of groceries.

Fill your shopper, clip it to your bike, and head home.

Handy Bicycle Shopping Bag

This bag is sturdy, well made, and easy to use. Unzip a panel on the back to reveal two hooks that clip onto your bike rack. Its great for quick trips to the store. Just unhook it, fill it with your shopping, snap it back on and youre off. I use it for trips with multiple stops so I never leave anything in panniers that might be stolen. There is a zipper on the top, and a small zippered pocket inside for keys or cash. The material is thick and waterproof, but if its raining hard your items might get wet since there are openings between the sides and the zippered top. The width is just about the size of a half-gallon milk carton. Im happy with my purchase and might buy another for larger trips.

Wonderful bike tote!

This is everything it says it is. It installs safely with the hooks that click over the bar securely. It is cute and fashionable. It looks a bit more plasticy on the outside than I was hoping for but it is better than I was expecting quality-wise. Im looking at buying a second one. It will hold a bag of groceries plus some with no problem. Perfect for that quick trip to the gym or the grocery store.
