Light weight and simple. Comfortable with good rotation. Big advantage in the rounded design: doesnt scratch of puncture interior of car when I throw the bike in the back. The design requires close clearance to the bottom of the shoe. I had to cut out some rubber on the inside middle of the shoe to make it work. Normally it is OK and is easy to walk on when off the bike but I have a tendency to pull the right foot out when pumping hard. No way to tighten the spring that I can see.
Bebops are the best!     On: 2008-05-01

Bebops are the only pedal Ill ride.

Ive tried Time, multiple Looks, Speedplay, Speedplay Frog, Ritcheys, and of course SPD. Bebops are the easiest entry pedal Ive tried. You can engage with toe first, heel first, or simply step down. Ive *never* accidently released but getting out is truly easy. They allow truly free rotation, not like the auto-centering rotation that most pedals offer.

Other nice things are light weight, theyre mechanically simple so there are no small parts that can fail as well as the lowest stack height of any pedal Ive tried. The only bummer is that theyre hard to find, glad to see them here on Amazon.com.
