Excellent Component

This purchase was to complete a project Bike. I was building an urban hybrid using an older cro-moly mountain bike frame. The aged brakes were dismal and required an upgrade. I felt a need to go with a highly rated, quality brake for the urban setting. I was pleased with the Shimano V-Brake. The installation and adjustment was a piece of cake. The performance is outstanding. This is a very competent component. Highly recommended.
