this is a good concept since the stroller doesnt come with a tray, the problem is it only fits one tray. So only one kid gets the tray infront of them. I ordered two and am now stuck with an extra one.

Great Stroller

Overall, this stroller is fantastic! It is a perfect balance of a lightweight stroller and a jogging stroller. It isnt too big and bulky and it drives very smooth. Although the accessories can add up, I like the fact that you get to choose what you want. I got the child tray and the parent console. The tray sits quite high for a baby, but seems like a perfect height for a toddler. If the tray wasnt so high, I wouldve given this item 5 stars.

Works well, but wish for one more feature

As a Mom of a 9-month old, We liked that the tray swings off to the side to get the baby in and out of the seat, but I wish it could also be swung down once the tray is off to the side. Otherwise, we like it. It snaps in easy and the one button release is great when you have a squirming or sleeping baby in your arms. The cup holder is a nice size so the wide mouth bottles fit with no problem.

I bought my Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller last year after looking at several double strollers. For some reason, finding a side by side stroller with child trays is virtually impossible. It also happens to be one of the features that I really wanted so of course I purchased the trays when they became available. The trays attach to the belly bar with velcro straps. I was a little worried that they wouldnt velcro on securely but they do in fact attach very firmly with adjustable velcro loops. The trays are quite sturdy as well. They can be adjusted higher or lower because the belly bar is adjustable. My twins are 15 months old and even on the lower setting the tray is a little high. I wouldnt suggest these trays for a small baby. They are a lot bigger and higher than what you would see on a single stroller that has a tray attached.

Overall, the trays are good and do come in handy but I think its kind of ridiculous that it costs upwards of $80.00 just to have child trays on a $350.00 stroller.

I love it! At first I thought the whole tray had to come off to load the kid and to fold it. No way! One side can be removed using a very easy button mechanism that wont hurt fingers while the other side has a hinge that allows the tray to swing out to let your child out of the seat! Its so easy my 3 year old can snap herself in! Great! Plus, the stroller folds with the tray in place. The tray should be removed when storing in tight places like the back of the car, but the tray fits in the storage pocket. It also cleans up easily, the whole thing can be removed and taken into the kitchen, and is great for those long walks when you must have snacks. All in all a great purchase and I highly recommend it!

I baught the tray thinking it would sit a little lower. My son is one and it still sits at about his shoulders. I wanted to add a little more protection and give him something to have his snacks/toys on. Since it is so high, it does neither. Maybe once he is two, it will finally work for him.

Great addition to a great stroller

Weve had the Baby Jogger City Mini stroller for almost a year now and weve used several of the attachments with it and so far this one seems to be a great addition for our daughter.

We are able to attach toys to the side closest to her with the plastic hooks that seem to come with so many baby/toddler toys. She also is able to grasp the tray and pull herself forward to look around and see more than when she is leaning back in the chair.

We would recommend this attachment for this stroller as it is very easy to use and adds functionality. Also, there is no need to remove this bar when collapsing the stroller since it doesnt impede the folding mechanism.

Great Product

I have the Baby Jogger Mini City Classic stroller which comes without a tray. This tray is very sturdy and clips right in. My daughter is very hard on her things and she hasnt figured out a way to tear this up or rip it off (she did with her last stroller). I would highly recommend this if you want a tray for you Baby Jogger stroller.

Beware - only for 2008 models

I really want a child try, but I have a 2006 model. I did not realize it was only compatible with 2008 models. My only other solution is to spend over $80 for the belly bar and a special console. Im disappointed baby jogger doesnt have a better option for older model strollers. Im not about to go buy a newer model just to get a child tray. I gave the child tray 3 stars only because it doesnt work with older models.

Good Purchase

Its definitely worth the money to get this for your Baby Jogger. Without it, your child must sit with a cold drink in his/her lap which gets very cold. My only downside is that it sits high compared to the height of the child in the stroller. It would be hard for a small child to use on his/her own. However, my 2-year-old uses it just fine and it was a good purchase.
