somewhat uncomortable

I purchased these for my 14 year old daughter who was going on a three day bike trek. She didnt really like them -- they are shorter than most bike shorts which she said made them more uncomfortable and binding at the thigh. She much prefers her Cannondale shorts at the longer length.
