good after some modifications

I only rated this two stars because without the modifications my husband made to the seat I could not have used it. The straps were almost useless, they would just fall right off of my sons shoulders. The seat only attaches to the bicycle on the bicycles center bar, so no matter how tight you make it it can still shift side to side. Now that we have fixed the problems my son loves it and so do I. Having him in front of me is great, his weight is in just the right spot on the bike I cant even tell that I am peddling an extra 27 lbs. It doesnt seem there there is any kind of safety regulations when it comes to child bike seats. I really wish there were!

The details of this seat say for 18 months and older, yet the weight limit is 33 pounds!
My 10-mo-old is 28 pounds. I doubt by the time hes 18 months, he will still be under the weight limit to ride in this seat. I guess Ill look at others.
