Reviews Great all-around book by: on: 23-Sep 2009 This book is great for anyone from a beginner to a fairly experienced mechanic. It covers the simplest bike maintenance in a way that can be easily understood and goes all the way up to the most complex areas like truing a wheel. It explained clearly how to adjust my shifting and within 20 minutes I was back to perfect shifts. Great book. In some places I would prefer photos over the drawn illustrations which is why I did not give it a 5 star rating, but I am a tough grader. Solid Book for repairing mountain bikes by: on: 09-Aug 2009 I borrowed a different book from the library on bike maintenance, but I wasn't entirely satisfied, so I purchased this one. It's a very solid book, that does a good job of helping you take care of your mountain bike. Its also a fairly pleasant read as well. Never Received by: on: 30-Jul 2009 Its probably a really good book. I've heard many good things about it. I would like to receive it. Unorganized by: on: 27-Jun 2009 I didn't like it. Unorganized, too much fluff, too much wasted space. It makes my eyes bleed. Writing a tech book as if you are writing a novel typically isn't the best approach to take.
