![]() Bike-O-Vision Cycling DVD #1 European Sampler By: Rockstone Productions Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 5 Product Description: Now here we have the original cycling video that started the "Bike-O-Vision" craze! The camera work is a bit bumpy over some of the cobblestones and ageless country roads, but its a fascinating collection of journeys you wont want to miss. Youll see Alpine meadows in Austria, a cute Alsacian (French) village, racing a barge up the Rhine River near the famous Loreley in Germany, along the Italian Riviera paradise of Portofino, through the Brecon Beacons of Wales, and into English Cotswold Hills region. All videographed in glorious Springtime. The rides are generally shorter in each section and the DVD is only 35 minutes in length. Where to Buy
Reviews Pretty Good... by: on: 04-Feb 2009 I really enjoyed the Bike-O-Vision. It is exactly what I expected. In terms of quality, the product is solid. The music is nice, but I put in my earphones and crank out an hour or so. The value is not great - the clips are very short - I thought I might get about 2 hours of footage from this product. I have St. Croix and I'm planning on buying more of these - they will keep me busy on the bike through these long winters. I'd like to see a company do the same thing with CGI and sell them for significantly less (= more value). Great way to see Europe by: on: 22-Jan 2009 This is a great way to tour parts of Europe and have fun cycling at home at the same time. All of the Bike-O-Vision DVDs are fantastic journeys, and I am particulary fond of the Nevada, Utah, Sedona, California Wine Country, and Puerto Rico adventures. I like to alternate these with the Spinerval (Troy Jacobson) DVDs, especially the Cycling with Iron Girl. Great Video for cycling workouts by: on: 25-Jul 2007 Great Video! I have the entire set of fourteen videos and use them for daily cycling workouts. There are so many scenic rides you'll never get bored again! Great Video - I loved it! by: on: 25-Jul 2007 I love to cycle and love this series. This one is the shortest of the group, only 40 minutes but really interesting because of the diverseness. They are great compliments to indoor cycling workouts because the view of "forward motion" you get keeps you wanting to push ahead instead of slack off. Definitely a different perspective then a usual video. I now have all fourteen videos and use them over and over for daily workouts. There are so many rides I never get bored. I appreciate the lack of commentary (any riders on the screen) and graphics that are on similar cycling videos. I've recommended the series to all my cycling buddies, and they seem to have gotten into them too. View All ReviewsView All Bicycle DVD's |
