Reviews Works with Co-Pilot child seat  by: on: 04-Nov 2009 I bought this rack as a 2nd one so that we could move our child seat (Co-Pilot) between bikes. The most important piece of information is confirmation that this rack is the one that works with the Co-Pilot (this child seat does not work with all racks!). I have a Diamondback comfort bike (sorry, don't have model handy) and I had no problem installing this. We also installed one on my wife's Haro mountain bike, and, again, had no problem with the installation, so there's 2 data points that say that this is a well-designed and flexible bike rack. In summary, works with the Co-Pilot child seat, sturdy construction (I trust my daughter to it!), easy to install, and flexible for installation on different types of bikes...I guess that's all you would want in a bike rack, right? You get what you pay for  by: on: 04-Oct 2009 The Blackburn EX-1 (Expedition) rack is excellent...light enough, very strong, crosses well with a Co-Pilot kid's seat. While it's perhaps a bit pricey, you'll find it very easy to install, good looking, with great utility. Good rack, terrible mounting hardware  by: on: 24-Sep 2009 The rack feels sturdy, but the mounting hardware is of terrible quality. It is made of soft metal which strips easily. I'm very wary of stripping bolts when working on my bike, yet I stripped one of these bolts almost immediately. This was a real problem because the stripped bolt was attaching the rack to one of my bike's mounting eyelets, so now I couldn't remove the rack from my bike. Luckily, the soft metal worked to my advantage... I was able to pinch the bolt with needlenose pliers enough to unscrew it. That bolt and the rest of them went straight into the trash. These bolts are seriously not worthy of holding a water bottle cage onto your bike. Buy this rack, but get your mounting hardware elsewhere. (Except for the silver rack extenders... those seem to be of reasonable quality.) I wish I'd ponied up the money for the Tubus Cargo instead, but this was half the price and I suppose you get what you pay for. Bike rack by: on: 10-Jul 2009 It was perfect for the seat we bought.
