Reviews Nice dual suspension for its price by: on: 10-Nov 2009 First and foremost, this bike cost $179 so you can't expect high grade quality components on this dual suspension mountain bike. I received the bike pretty quick (less than a week) and it is packaged in one box. The packaging was great but there was a part of the frame that has a small rough patch of scratch to it. It didn't really matter to me since it is a cheap bike after all. Putting the bike together was very simple, I didn't even need the manual that came with it, even if you do need the manual it doesn't really go over your Kent Shogun bike. It's more like generally. I think setting up the brakes might take a while since my brakes are never tight enough like someone mentioned by one of the reviewers but I don't really ride this fast on this bike anyway. The bike is made of aluminum material that is supposedly lighter. I test ride it and was extremely comfortable thanks to its dual suspension although I did switch the seats to a more comfy on. It comes with a kickstand. The shifters aren't really that great. Max of 40 psi tires. Quick release only on the seat. The only thing I didn't like was I don't have any good place to put my U lock on the bike frame. Overall I expected what I paid for. I will purchase a trek hybrid once this one breaks down. good decent bike by: on: 25-Sep 2009 This bike is not a mountain bike but for the flat off road trails where I live it is most suitable, I found the initial build quality to be excellent. The wheels were true and everything has worked as to be expected. I paid the $179 with free shipping, overall for the money a good deal. Allright bike for a cheep price by: on: 18-Sep 2009 over all the bike is all right, there isn't much to say about it although the front brakes arn't that good. durability by: on: 17-Sep 2009 this bike is ok. but after the first few rides on a SERIOUS mountain bike riding trip. you would need to change the plastic pedals. suspension works great. good bike!!
