Reviews OMG this will deter anyone  by: on: 01-Oct 2009 I bought this based on previous reviews, but, when i got it i was even more pleasantly surprised at how thick this thing was. the one and only thing that i dont like and its not a major issue, just my personal preference is that you can not just take the key out and leave it unlocked, it has to get locked. but, then that is also a good feature because you never have to worry about whether you feel like it is locked properly as long as you have your keys. I do however wish it was about another foot longer to wrap around wider trees. Im not sure what im going to do with 5 keys and a key code card in case i lose 5 keys, but, like the fact that should that ever happen, i pretty much have this lock for a lifetime, probably longer than the bike itself. But overall, think this is a great product and well worth the money. definitely a bargain for the money!!! My bike was stolen  by: on: 15-Dec 2008 I live on a college campus where bike theft is quite common. I bought this lock so I wouldn't have to worry about going outside to find my bike was stolen. Not even a year after getting this (and a new bike after the last one was stolen) my new bike and lock were stolen. Unfortunately, nothing was left, so I have absolutely no clue how the bike was stolen. Lock seemed very solid and virtually indestructible (or at least not worth the time to destroy). Great Lock  by: on: 10-Sep 2008 I researched different locks. Though this one is large and quite heavy, it is a great lock. So far, so good. I throw it in my backpack or basket when I am riding and it is long enough to loop around lampposts and through my tire and frame of my bike. They provide many, many keys as well. HEAVY duty. by: on: 22-Aug 2008 If nothing else, this lock is a definate deterrent to would be bike thieves! The thing is pretty heavy and quite formidable looking. The company includes 5 keys, one of which has a LED light. I have dinged the lock one star due to it's weight and stiffness. They really need to include some sort of carrying system as it's quite difficult to wrap on your seat post (stiff).
