Reviews I have two pairs of these!  by: on: 21-Apr 2009 I love these shoes in black and brown! Very retro cute. The brown has pink trim that I consider a bonus. I took out the cream shoelaces shown and replaced them with the color matching laces that are included in the box. I get compliments on both pairs every time I wear them. I have a wide foot and so I went up a full size for extra comfort. I can't stand my toes to touch any part of the shoe when I am wearing a sneaker. These are not he most comfortable sneaker I own. That title goes to a pair of Brooks, but that isn't really what I was looking for with these. I was looking for a stylish sneaker to wear with jeans and these are great. I can wear them all day for several days and have no problems. I think they are very comfortable for a casual shoe. A Shoe That Fits My Flintstone Feet!! by: on: 19-Jan 2009 It's so difficult for me to find shoes that fit, that are comfortable, and that don't look like something my grandmother would wear. I have flat feet that are very wide (I wear a 4W in New Balance) and very thick, with hammertoes and bunions. (You definitely won't see my feet in any sandal commercials) So I need something with a wide and high toebox. My college age daughter has a pair of Keen shoes in a different style and had me try them on. Though her feet are not wide, the shoes felt very comfortable on me. I'm guessing it's that the lacing can be accomodating for a wider fit. Anyway, I got these in black. Though my boyfriend thinks they're really ugly, I think they're cute with jeans, and I've gotten many compliments on them. love KEEN!  by: on: 14-Jan 2009 I love KEEN shoes/boots. Quality & durability can be found in this brand. Cute, casual sneakers. Love looking at my feet when I wear them. Took a few times to break them in. Not a feather-light shoe, feels just a little heavier than most, but that's due to the sole & toe of the shoe. If you purchase these, you will have them for years. There's no doubt. I've had mine for 2yrs so far and they practically look new w/ much wear behind them. I'm Keen on Keen by: on: 23-Jun 2008 I was reluctant to buy these online, not because I questioned the quality, but because I was not sure of the fit. An acquaintance has a pair of Keen sandals. They looked comfy, well made and had a great arch support. The only problem I had was finding Keens locally. I found the Venture Suede and really loved the look. My only concern was the fit. I wear women's 7.5 or 8. I figured that it would be safer to lean towards the larger size; I ordered the 8 and they fit perfectly. Some size 8s are too roomy for me, but these were perfect. One thing that I appreciate is the way the gum sole wraps around the toe; my feet stay dry when walking across a dew dampened lawn and even when there's a light rain. I like to walk, but don't care for most of the sneakers available. I find that they are either too flimsy, or too clunky looking. The design of the Keens is more my style, without sacrificing quality. The sole is nice and thick, the suede is like butter, soft, supple and allows my feet to breath.
