Good tool

I've used this tool over the Spring, Summer and Fall and it has worked very well. You do need to be a bit gentle with the unit or you might damage the plastic - especially around the clips. Mine has some slight damage so I need to keep an eye on it as I rotate my chain so it doesn't pop open but it isn't a big deal. The chain comes out nice and shiny and I expect the tool to last for several more years.

I'm pleased with how well the Chain Gang works. The citrus degreaser that came with the system also works really well. I've found that to really get the chain clean you may need to run it through the Chain Gang a couple of times with fresh cleaner. It's so easy to use, running the chain through a couple of times doesn't take long. It is easy to clean the Chain Gang when you're done cleaning the chain. A very good product!

My Old Trek Really Benefitted rating

I have an old road bike. There was a little creaking sound w/ each revolution of the chain. I used this product to clean the chain, then lubed w/ their brand of Teflon chain oil. Now the creak is gone. The bike pedals so smoothly and quietly! Wow!

It's quick and easy, but it does make a mess, so use newspaper and wipe down the the chain w/ rags after cleaning and after your first ride (post-oiling).

Very impressive...
