Reviews Great product for the price by: on: 12-Sep 2009 If you're looking for an inexpensive, bright, functional rear light for your bicycle, this is it. I like the design and it's great if you don't have much vertical space between the tire and your seat (or in my case, the tire and my seat bag). The hardware is easy to mount to the back or your seat post and the light can be detached from the mounting hardware. Unlike some other lights I have, the light clips into the mounting hardware and is still easy to remove. I would have given it 5 stars except I'm not sure how it will hold up to more abuse in off road situations. The mounting hardware is made of plastic and seems durable, but I will find out after more prolonged use. It is bright and cars can see you from a good distance, so far I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. Provides more light ... by: on: 31-Mar 2009 I placed this light on the rear of my Kawasaki Ninja so that drivers can see me more easily. In addition to my larger running/brake light I believe it keeps me safer. It was very simple to install. I recommend the light for both bicycles and motorcycles. Great Product - Easy to Use by: on: 05-Aug 2008 I purchased 3 of these for my kids bikes. I also have a couple of other flashing tail lights. The Tailguard is much brighter than the others. The mounting is also handy. After attaching the mount to the seatpost it only takes a second or two to mount the light. This allows me to keep the lights out of my kids hands (save batteries) until we need them. There is a single button to cycle through the different options. The belt clip can also be handy when I want to go for a run. To summarize: the light is bright, easy to install, easy to use, and versitile. Not too expensive either. Good light, bad mounting system by: on: 28-May 2008 The light seems to be fine. Four options: solid, fast flash, slow flash, and alternate. I only used it for a day, because during my second trip the light just jumped off the mounting system and the car behind me drove over it. The mounting system is not suitable for the heavier 5" light. A bad design of Sigma. I always enjoyed Sigma's products, but I wouldn't recommend this one, unless you secure the light yourself with tape, rope or glue to the mounting system. View All Taillights |
