Sturdy, light, and well-made rating

I am completely satisfied with this item. It can extend to a height of 7 feet--I have a mountain bike on the top hook and it is nice and sturdy. Very light for its size due to aluminum tubing, and I was surprised at how much of the construction is metal (very little plastic). My mountain bike has an unusually slanted top tube, and the rack accommodates it fine. Bottom rack is secure enough to do chain cleaning, work on gears, brakes, etc. As other reviewers have said, it is worth ordering the extra handlebar stabilizer when you buy this item (they really should include 2). Recommended.

Good, Sturdy, Space Saving, but Pricey Bike Stand rating

Pros:

- It is very sturdy and stable even with two bikes loaded.

- It actually saves space. (I live in a small apartment.)

Cons:

- You are guaranteed quality with Topeak, and along with that quality a pretty high price tag to go along with it.

- For some really stupid reason, this bike stand only comes with one "Topeak Handlebar Stablizer". This is what keeps a bike's front wheel from moving left or right while on the stand. I'd rather pay a little more upfront to have TWO "Topeak Handlebar Stablizers", as opposed to realizing that I need another one, and having to order it separately. So if you have two bikes to load on this stand do yourself a favor and order another one before you get annoyed.

Product is well contructed and sturdy. I was able to put two bikes on it, one of which was a tandam and it didn't waver at all.

Skeptical

There are times that I am skeptical of buying online (its to good to be true). However, I am more than satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Amazon for being reliable, trustworthy and taking away my skepticism.
