Great product & price!       rating

This is an excellent product and worth the price. The size is right and I have had it for about a month now. I have carried my laptop a couple of times and tennis racquet(the handle sticks out) and have had no issues. There is a handy outer mesh zip pocket on the top too that is not featured on the photo. Overall a great buy!
Nice, but has some issues       rating

Overall, I am pleased with the bag, it has a lot of space, the elastic mesh pouches on the sides are very convenient, and I love the addition of the rain cover. However, I wish the backing was more sturdy. The flimsy plastic sheet it has to give the bag shape, and provide protection from bouncing against the bike frame while riding is very weak, and not sufficient for long term use/transporting sensitive items, like a laptop computer. After only a few weeks of use, a large hole was ripped through the bag and plastic from the bouncing, creating deep grooves on the back of the computer. However, it isn't a big deal (to me) but others may be less forgiving.
Great little pannier       rating

I was hoping to find a suitable pannier for my errand-running moments. Nothing too dramatic, but big enough for a few groceries, or to take books back to the library, or run to the farmer's market/local shops, etc. This looked like a great non-expensive option, so I added one to my gift list (right before my birthday, as I knew I'd get it)

It's absolutely great! Exactly what I wanted. Like the other reviewer, I have no space on my bike for a water bottle rack, so the pocket on this bag is handy. I also can put my keys and garage door opener in the outer mesh zip to keep them from getting buried where I cannot get at them.

The bag stays closed and secure, and did not interfere at all with my ride. It stays on the rack great, and yet is pretty easy to remove and take into a store.

The size is really good, it will hold quite a bit. Mine came with a small bungee on the back, and I bought some extras at the hardware store just in case.

I have ordered a second pannier for the other side of my bike rack, because this one is working out so very well.

My only wish would be that this had a removable shoulder strap or something - I carry it into stores with me and it's fine so far, but it would be nice to be able to just hang them off my shoulder instead of using a hand to hold onto them. Great buy!

I really like using my bike for getting groceries, trips to the library, and picnics and outdoor arting trips with friends, but I am really sick of using a backpack. So I started looking for a bicycle pannier. As a poor college kid, I could really afford to buy one that was under $30. I also needed one roomy enough for sketchbooks, groceries, and the library books (though not necessarily all at the same time.) Also importantly, I needed one that would NOT come loose with a little bit of hard riding, as I love off-road shortcuts.

So I took a gamble and bought this. I was not disappointed. It is roomy, has multiple pockets, and has water bottle pockets, which is a plus since my women's bike doesn't really have room for a holder. I haven't used it in foul weather yet, but the rain cover looks pretty sound and is a safety conscious neon greeny-yellow. It stays securely on my rack when I'm riding, with no corners flapping in spokes and no brushing against my foot when I pedal.
It didn't come with a bungee, but bungees are really inexpensive and if you're like me, you already have a bunch lying around anyway. I just fished a short one out of the drawer and was set to go.

This is not one of "you get what you pay for" cheap and low-performing panniers. It really is a great deal.
