Reviews great pack  by: on: 26-Oct 2009 I just used this pack for a 8 hour adventure race. Th ere was plenty of room for cargo i needed. The side pockets are great for food items, extra bottles and any other small items you might want to carry and the 100 oz. reservoir is plenty of fluid to keep you going for hours!! Perfect for the job by: on: 09-Jun 2009 Having just completed a rim-to-rim hike in the Grand Canyon, I can assure you that this is the pack for any day hiker. The leak-proof bladder holds plenty of water and has a well-designed latch-loop to keep it in place. The nipple is also leak-proof and the bag has a helpful little loop you can slip it through to keep it out of the way but close by. The two main compartments are equally well-designed and have large storage areas to separate food from electronic devices (or keys) in order to keep everything dry and easy to find. Mesh side pockets are deep and hold an extra water bottle, trash, or anything else you might want to have handy. The Rim Runner is so chock full of well thought out design additions, clearly experienced hikers have had input into the design of this Camelback. It was amazing to see how many of the people we passed along the trail also sported this bag on their backs. But then again, it is so perfect for long day treks, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find that other serious hikers have also discovered it! View All Hydration Packs |
