Reviews Great First Tri-Shoes  by: on: 31-Jul 2009 Because these are my first pair and I don't have much to compare them to, take my review with a grain of salt. But so far these shoes have been comfortable, even barefoot, and have made my pedaling more efficient and smooth. They are very light and I think they look great, too. They are SPD-SL compatible only, and don't come with cleats or anything, which is standard for these shoes. The fastenings open away from your bike so it doesn't interfere with your chain, and there is a loop on the heel to help pull them on.
