I was looking for bags that were spacious enough for me to go to the grocery store and also to carry miscellaneous stuff like clothes, shoes... and this one is just perfect. It measures 12" long, 10" wide and 7" deep. It has a handle for carrying it and is easy to strap it to the rack. However, I leave it on all the time.
It works well with the "Ventura Universal Bicycle carrier rack" (my bike tires are 26 inch.)
