Reviews Warm and waterproof - but loose in the heel by: on: 23-Oct 2009 Bought this shoe a few weeks ago in hopes of avoiding the use of booties on my long, wet Seattle commute. They look cool (if you can say that about a bike shoe) and keep my feet totally dry and warm despite mother nature's attempts to soak/freeze me. My only gripe is that the heel of this shoe doesn't seem to "cup" my heel snugly; walking around in the shoe you can feel your heel slip up and down a bit - something I'd never experienced with any other SIDI shoe. Perhaps a ratchet buckle could have solved this? No idea. On the bike this completely unnoticeable, but it's kinda irritating when you're walking about. Overall - a stellar product that's well worth the money if you spend a lot of time in the rain and hate booties. View All Men's MTB Shoes |
