|Item:||Blue Raleigh Record Ltd. 1976ish|
On Friday, January 28, between the hours of 6pm and 9pm, my bicycle was taken from the bike rack near the entrance of the FWRI building and the back entrance to KORC. I found the cable cut and discarded where the bike was at 9 pm.
Though I do not have the serial number, I can name some distinguishing features about the bicycle, though they are mostly cosmetic in nature:
A green silicone 2-LED light is on the left of the handlebar stem; a black plastic light mount (quick cam release) is on the right.
There is no handlebar tape.
The rack is attached with zip ties and rubber to the rear triangle.
The rear rack is a galvanized Schwinn brand. It has a red rear reflector that I had to shave plastic in order for it to fit. The old reflector mount is still attached to the bike.
A black plastic light mount is on the horizontal bar of the back triangle, left side.
The pedal cages are unmatched; one side has a white strap, and one has a brown strap.
The front wheel has a reflector on the spokes, but the rear does not.
The crank set is missing the circular chain guard, but the bolts, nuts, washers, and spacers are still in their original position.
The large gear of the crank set is not original, but still Raleigh brand. It is larger than the 52 toothed gear (as indicated in the 1977 catalog page above), and came with longer crank arms as well.
