Description:Bicycle was stolen from the bike rack on the south side of the library sometime between about 4:10 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. on December 16, 2013. Reward for information leading to return of bike if bike is recovered with no serious frame or rear wheel damage. Lugless steel frame and fork painted solid black with no brand or model name decals or head badge. Frame is about 16.25” measured from center of bottom bracket to top of top tube and has a sloping top-tube (as shown in illustration). Large Wald rear baskets (if they haven't been removed by the thief) Wide 26" knobby front tire (all black except may or may not have white Bontrager lettering) Wide 26" knobby rear tire (all black except with white Bontrager lettering) Silver aluminum front and rear rims (back rim only has a small Weinmann brand label on it) Chrome-plated Shimano one-speed coaster-brake rear hub (Model CB-E110) with only one sprocket (with 18 Teeth) Black front hub with silver quick-release lever Black plastic front fender Black (with white lettering) Dia-Compe 986 cantilever front brake with black cable housing and black and silver brake lever mounted on left side of handlebar Frame studs for cantilever rear brake but with no cantilever rear brake Black (with white lettering) Viscount brand seat with black vinyl repair tape on top surface and damaged “nose” Silver aluminum seatpost Black steel handlebar stem Almost straight (slightly swept back) silver aluminum handlebars with black rubber Oury hand grips Chrome-plated handlebar-mounted warning bell Silver aluminum crankset with non-replaceable silver steel chainring/front sprocket (with 44-teeth) Small "Lifetime Warranty" decal on front of seat tube near the chainring/front sprocket Black vinyl-coated Kryptonite Evolution 2000 U-lock, black helmet, heavy-duty Outdoor Research (OR) mittens (left mitten black, right mitten blue and black), dark blue nylon rain jacket, and other misc. riding gear also stolen with bike. Serial number stamped on bottom left-side of frame's bottom bracket shell: N970212392. Another number stamped across bottom of bottom bracket shell (several characters not clearly legible): 4673(or 8)7- - 910(or C)7713(or 8)H45(or ?).
