My Pivot MTB came with a 30 tooth Race Face Cinch chainring.  After 18 months of riding it with the stock gearing, my front chainring was showing signs of wear.  I was also increasingly becoming envious of those with the Eagle drivetrain with its low gearing.

I went with the 26t.  It was easily installed and I have been riding it for a few weeks.  The lower gearing has helped on some of the extremely steep local trails we have.  I have not had any chain drops since making the change.  It feels stiff as the original Race Face.

Time will tell if it will last as long as the Race Face Cinch.

It looks great and is another fine product made in the USA.
